Enthusiastic students and young people participate in the great campaign of Har Ghar Tiranga in Tral

Continuing the fervor and festivities of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav – celebrating 75 years of independence, thousands of youths and students participated in a grand event displaying national flags and singing patriotic songs in Tral here.

The Secretary-Commissioner, RDD, Mandeep Kaur also participated in the grand event in which more than 15,000 school children and youths also took part and sang beautiful patriotic songs.

Speaking on the occasion, the Secretary Commissioner said that the idea behind the initiative is to invoke a sense of belonging in the people and to celebrate Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav in the spirit of Jan Bhagidari (community participation) . She pointed out that the campaign aims to evoke the idea of ​​raising the national flag among citizens at home between August 13 and 15.

Mandeep Kaur also remarked that the idea behind the activities of Har Ghar Tiranga is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in people’s hearts and promote awareness of the Indian national flag among them. She also praised the role of young people and the general public in making the campaign a mass movement.

The commissioner secretary underlined that the active participation of young people and students contributed to making the campaign a great success. She also invoked the ideas of freedom struggle among the participants and urged the young people to cherish and follow these ideals.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Baseer Ul Haq Choudhary said that various events involving people from all walks of life will be held at various places related to freedom struggle. He added that a series of activities such as rallies, debates, quizzes, painting competitions and cultural programs are being held across the district to promote the campaign.

The DC appreciated the role of schools in making Har Ghar Tiranga a successful movement and said the active participation of young people made the campaign a success in the district. He urged all stakeholders to cooperate and coordinate in order to make the Har Ghar Tiranaga initiative a great success in the district.

During the event, girl students from various schools generated a lot of enthusiasm from the participants for the campaign.
